Questions riders ask
The product
What is Halo Riders?
A projector light for your motorbike that shines a glowing pair of angel wings onto the ground beside your bike.
What do the lights look like?
Small black cylindrical projectors with a round lens. They mount under your bike and point down at the ground.
Is the price for one light or a pair?
Each kit is a pair: two projectors, one for each side of your bike.
What's in the box?
Two projectors with wiring, plus mounting hardware (adhesive pads and screws).
How big is the projection?
About 1m wide, depending on how high it's mounted.
How bright is it? Will it look the same everywhere?
It looks best in darker surroundings. How it looks also depends on the ground colour and texture, the projector angle and the mounting height.
Is it waterproof? Does it handle rain?
We don't publish a waterproof rating, so mount the projectors somewhere sheltered under the bike.
Colours and pricing
What colours are there? Which one should I choose?
Red, white or blue. If you can't decide, pick the one that matches the bike or your helmet.
Can I mix colours if I buy more than one kit?
Yes. When you choose 2 or 3 kits, you can pick a different colour for each kit.
How much does it cost?
1 kit: A$49
2 kits: A$79
3 kits: A$99
Fitting and installation
Will it fit my motorbike?
It's a 12V install, but it isn't a universal plug-and-play fit. Whether it fits depends on the mounting space under your bike and your bike's electrical system. Check both before you order.
How do I install it? Is it easy?
Mount each projector under the bike, pointing at the ground, using the screws or the adhesive pads. Then wire it into your bike's 12V electrical system using the included wiring. Any bike workshop can fit it quickly.
Do I need to wire it myself?
Yes, it has to be wired into your bike's electrical system. If you're not confident with wiring, have a qualified mechanic or auto electrician fit it.
Legality
Can I use it on public roads? Is it legal?
Lighting rules vary between countries and states. Check your local road rules and only use the lights where they're allowed.
Gifting
Is it a good gift for a rider?
Yes. It's a stand-out upgrade for someone who loves their bike, and it comes in red, white or blue to match their ride.
